My mouth falls open when I see a small musical ensemble sitting in the far corner. Their backs face us. When the door falls closed behind us, they start playing a Christmas song.

Bran grabs my hand and circles around me, spinning me around. “Some privacy to dance since big parties aren’t really your thing.”

“Did you—” I look at the musicians. “Did you do this for me? How?”

“Yes. And as for the how—” He presses my back against his chest, and we sway to the rhythm. “You’d be surprised at all the things we can get done.
